In the mid-1990s, he decided to submit his version of the “purely American motorcycle”. The group's management, seeing the success of the Harley-Davidson brand, decided to organize the production of competitive models of motorcycles, and created the Victory Motorcycles division for this, whose assembly production is located in Spirit Lake, Iowa, USA, and in a short time developed the construction of a heavy motorcycle cruiser.

And in 1997, the debut model V92C was presented to the public in Planet Hollywood, and in 1998 the motorcycle went on sale. Except for the brake system of the Italian manufacturer Brembo and the British fuel injection system, all parts and components of the V92C were manufactured in the USA, which was an additional marketing advantage. In early 1998, the first motorcycles of the new American brand arrived to the buyers. The debut was successful. The model has won many awards, including the honorary title of “best cruiser of the year” from the authoritative American magazine Cycle World. The network of sales of these motorcycles in the United States has about 500 dealers.

The base model V92C is a typical cruiser, embodying the idea of ​​a “big iron bike” that Americans have been worshiping for more than a dozen years. Pure, rounded lines, an abundance of chrome-plated parts - all this resembles the style of the era of the 40-50s. The huge two-cylinder V-shaped engine of impressive (1507 cm3) displacement draws attention to itself. The engine is equipped with an electronically controlled fuel injection system, four-valve cylinder heads, valve hydropushers. Since the motor is included in the power structure of a duplex tubular frame, it has a balance shaft to reduce vibrations. The gearbox is made in the block with the engine, the motor transmission - gears, rear-wheel drive - toothed belt. An interesting detail is that high-end European-made components are used in the design of the motorcycle: Marzocchi telescopic front fork, Brembo disc brakes. The rear suspension consists of a closed triangular pendulum and a monocamping device located under the saddle. By the 2000 season, engine power was increased by using camshafts, exhaust system and air filter of the new design, as well as reprogramming of the injection control system.

Victory Motorcycles decided to develop success, and already in 2000, the customers were offered the V92SC SportCruiser, which differed from the head model mainly in increased wheel diameter, higher ground clearance, and a change in the driver's seat. The market met the V92SC cooler than its predecessor, thus showing that buyers are not yet ready to accept the concept of a sports-type cruiser.

Model V92SC (Sport-Cruiser), according to its creators, is a new class - a sports-type cruiser. Driving performance of the machine is significantly improved due to alterations in the suspensions and brake system. The diameter of the supporting tubes of the telescopic Marzocchi front fork has been increased from 45 to 50 mm; a Fox shock absorber has been used in the rear suspension. The diameter of the wheels “grew” from 16 to 17 inches, the front wheel is equipped with a dual Brembo brake. The driver’s landing is close to the sports one, instead of the wide platforms the usual motorcycle steps are installed. The exhaust system has received a canister type muffler, which creates less resistance to exhaust gases.

But the manufacturer continued to work in this direction, and already the Victory Hammer model, with the V-Twin engine of 1731 “cubes”, 97 horsepower and stylish aggressive design, continued the sports line.

The motorcycle is equipped with a Freedom engine of 1,731 cubic centimeters. For the convenience of long tourist travels, the handsome man is equipped with heated seats and handlebars, as well as a cruise control system.

In 2013, Victory Motorcycles celebrated the 15th anniversary of motorcycle production. In honor of this event, the American manufacturer introduced a special bike Victory Cross Country Tour LE. The presentation took place at the IMS exhibition in New York. The motorcycle is painted in black and red, inspired by the color scheme of the original Victory V92C 1998 bike, which was the first motorcycle to come off the assembly line at the Victory factory in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

The jubilee motorcycle is distinguished by a custom saddle, forged wheels, chrome parts, a removable wardrobe with removable insides, Garmin GPS navigation, XM satellite radio, Kicker speakers, black windshield, and an iPhone / iPod jack.
