The German company CLAAS, founded by Westfalian August Klaas in 1913, today remains a family- owned enterprise, one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. The positive development of production in 2016-2017 fiscal year brought the company a total profit of 3.76 billion Euros.
CLAAS has a large number of subsidiaries, of which 12 are manufacturing enterprises, and the main task of all continents is to be close to the client and to meet all its needs. Today, the company employs more than 11,500 employees throughout the world.
On the Ukrainian market, CLAAS came out in 1992, presenting at the Agro-92 the popular model of the DOMINATOR 108 combine harvester and the JAGUAR 690 forage harvester at that time. Since then, CLAAS has consistently been operating in Ukraine through a dealer network through which sales and financing of machinery are provided. , technical and warranty service of machines, supply of spare parts and training for the machine operators of the client. To date, the factory-manufacturer in Ukraine delivered more than 8000 units of new self-propelled machinery.
Under the CLAAS brand, various types of products are produced. Traditionally, CLAAS has been manufacturing harvesters.
In the segment of grain harvesting equipment, CLAAS is a leader in the European market, and the line of combine harvesters LEXION, TUCANO, AVERO and DOMINATOR is the most well-known.
Jaguar self-propelled forage harvester remains the "number one" in the world market for many decades.
The forage harvester is also represented by trailers: CORTO and DISCO mowers, LINER rollers and VOLTO rotors. CLAAS also manufactures a wide-reaching self-propelled COUGAR mower.
The supply of forage equipment complements a series of bales (QUADRANT) and rollers (ROLLANT) press-pickers. CLAAS delivers feed harvester for all segments of agricultural enterprises - from small farms to large livestock enterprises. For each of them, CLAAS also offers a series of SCORPION telescopic loaders of varying carrying capacity.
Since 2003, CLAAS has been actively strengthening its position in the market of agricultural tractors. This is evidenced by the fact that in the period from 2003 to 2009, the production of tractors at the plant in Le Mans in France doubled. To date, all tractors that come out of the Le Mans pipeline are designed by CLAAS developers according to CLAAS standards. The most important thing for CLAAS is to provide high quality product and innovation.
Every day, including Saturday and Sunday, CLAAS invests more than 300,000 Euros in developing new models and up-to-date technologies. For more than 100 years now, the name CLAAS symbolizes the preservation of its own traditions, work oriented to customers and employees, as well as long-term growth and successful development.
